Founded
in 1962 BTI Inc. of Santee Ca is looking to the future by implementing ISO 9002,
the internationally accepted quality management system. The ISO 9002 process
will create a blueprint for the company to ensure consistent quality, increase
customer satisfaction measurably, and serve as a basis for continual process
improvement. ISO is not a product standard, but a process in which an
organization establishes a "Quality Manual," documenting the company's
policies, procedures, work instructions and record keeping, including internal
quality audits. The benefits of the ISO 9001 process include improved business
practices, reduced waste, reduced costs, increased consistency, measurable
improvements in quality and greater customer satisfaction.
